Abstract The drip irrigation method offers the potential of higher application efficiency water and allows precise placement fertilizer directly in root zone. use also facilitates frequent via injection system, which conjunction between nutrient time crop needs. effect nitrogen (N) rate fertigation scheduling were evaluated on yield, N uptake, recovery potato grown sandy soil. was applied at two rates under regular (control) or through along with four schedules including: equal doses weekly biweekly intervals different based growth curve characters (12.5, 25, 50, 12.5% total amount) same intervals, for initial, developmental, mid, mature stages, respectively. wise significantly affected yield components except tuber number per plant. associated a when respective stage scheduled typically responded to character than any intervals. increase by 13 22% For this scenario, modeled uptake interval 16% even greater 31% interval.
